Galapagos Tortoise

Galapagos Tortoise

The Galapagos Tortoise sculpture is located in Cummings Playground in Lincoln Park, Chicago. It was created by Tom Tischler, an artist who specializes in animal sculptures in 1993.

This post is for A TO Z Challenge, where there will be a post every day in April except Sundays corresponding to each letter of the alphabet.

THEME: "In and around Chicago" - All the pictures in this series are monuments, sculptures and fountains shot at various parks in Chicago. View the entire pictures in this sequence here.

  1. Awesome sculpture! I really like your A to Z Challenge theme so I'm now following.....Good luck with the rest of the challenge. This is my first year.

  2. Turtles are so cool. I used to have a sulfate, but it got too big for the yard. She was a friendly pet, and what a bulldozer too!
